HOW do I get clients now that I know WHO my ideal client is?
So now you understand who your target market is, but how do you actually turn that into sales and get clients working with you?
If you don’t know who your ideal client is, and you’re not sure who your target market is, and you are just trying to reach everybody right now, then stop right now and head over to read this post.
You may be thinking “I know who my ideal client is, but how do I reach them?” Content! Content is King! I want you to start focusing on creating content in your business. When you create content in your business it gives you an opportunity to start to build relationships. People want to buy from people that they like, know and trust. If they are able to connect with you through your content and able to get to know you, know what you offer, and see the value in what you do,then they are going to more apt to put their credit card on the table and work with you, guaranteed! I want you to pay attention to what your ideal client NEEDS.
WHAT ARE THEY ASKING FOR? What questions are coming up that you see online? What questions do you see when you’re with your ideal client face to face? What is the information they are looking for?
Provide them with the answers to their questions through content that you are generating, whether it is through a blog post, on your website, or through another medium. Start to build content in your business so that when your ideal client searches for that content on the internet, or maybe even directly on your website, that they find the answers they need from YOU!
The next time you are chatting with a client and they are asking you questions, take a moment when you are done speaking with them to write down the questions that they have asked. If they are asking these questions then you can guarantee that there are others out there who are also interested in learning about that same topic.
I get it. At times it can be hard to sit down and write content. You sit down and stare at a blank screen. Then you start to type and then hit the delete button. I find it helpful to make a long list of all the different questions people ask and topics I can write about. I then block off time in my calendar to designate time for writing. In order to get the words to flow, I choose topics that I feel comfortable or passionate writing about that day. It makes the process so much easier. I encourage you to find a system that will work for you. One that will keep you motivated to create new content.
Once you have created a piece of content then share it! Share it online through your blog, your social media platforms, share it with your email newsletter list, re-purpose it where you can!
